The Pinn Medical Centre is currently booking in patients for the Covid-19 vaccination on the basis of age and clinical priority. We have one site running in harrow, with another site opening in harrow soon. Arrangements are being made to vaccinate our patients in care homes and our housebound patients. We respectfully ask that patients DO NOT call the Pinn Medical Centre about their vaccination date, as you will be contacted by us in due course. If any of you are under 70 years old, and have no other long term health conditions, we would welcome you as volunteers to help run the COVID vaccination sites. THE PINN MEDICAL CENTRE SERVICES DURING COVID CRISIS
The Pinn has been asked by the CCG to set up a GP Access service for Non Covid patients during this unprecedented crisis from 8am Saturday 28th March.
From Tomorrow morning we will be closed to walk in patients other than acutely ill patients who cannot safely be redirected.
We continue to remain available to our own patients for initial telephone consultations and booked face to face consultations where necessary.
Unregistered patients will now be booked in to a GPAC appointment having been clinically triaged.
These changes are temporary during this Covid crisis and the CCG has given it written reassurance that they are committed to reopening walk in cervices at the Pinn once his crisis is over.
COVID SYMPTOMS
Patients with Covid symptoms or requiring any information on Covid should consult the government website GOV.UK Patients who feel they cannot manage their symptoms safely at home should contact 111 on line or by telephone who are able to arrange a consultation if required. If unable to get through then call the surgery to arrange a telephone consultation with a clinician. The clinician will decide whether you need to be seen and will give instructions on how this can be done with the necessary safety precautions .This may require you to attend a local Covid hub.
NON COVID SYMPTOMS
Non Covid medical conditions that cannot wait please call the surgery for a telephone consultation with a clinician who will make arrangements for you to be seen if necessary.

IMMUNISATIONS
At present, only immunisations for under 2 year olds will continue as delaying these can pose its own health risks
BLOOD TESTS/INVESTIGATIONS/ DRESSINGS/ OTHER INJECTIONS
These are to be kept to a minimum so only book these if you have been told by a clinician that they cannot be postponed

Please request prescriptions electronically or by email - information about this has already been texted to you and is available on the website. Prescription requests can be taken by telephone only if you are unable to use other means as it uses up phone lines.
